I started this wallhanging a coupla years ago, and I just found it and finished the top with blanket stitching around the trees and penguins and added the borders. Ready to be samiched now to be quilted. Another one in the pile.

I was raking some leaves and this furry friend came to watch. He was perched up high in a tree in my backyard. Don't see much wild life in the burbs, so this was kinda neat.

This is a wallhanging I did as I kit I got from Connecting Threads a few years ago.


A friend of mine had given this top to me a few years ago and I finally finished it. Below are the closeups of some of the quilting. I just went around the design.

Quilt Retreat

I spent last week at Quilt Retreat in Michigan. All had a real good time and got alot of quilts done. I have some pics to post and will do that at a later time. I got to meet alot of new friends and visit with all the regulars. These retreats just keep getting better and better. The cook out did herself again and provided scrumptious meals.

I also made this table runner. Charlie supplied the kit to all the ladies at retreat.

Here are the crumbs I made. Good way to use up all your scraps. Ya just keep sewing them on til you get to a finished size you want to square up to. These are 6 1/2.

I didn't do this at retreat. I had this finished before I went just never posted a pic.
